Payment Policy

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We provide several secure payment options to make checkout convenient for our customers. Payments placed through domain.com may be completed using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Maestro, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

The payment methods displayed at checkout may vary depending on your device, browser, location, card issuer, payment provider, or other technical and eligibility requirements. A payment method is considered available only when it is displayed as an option during checkout.

2. Transaction Currency

All transactions made through domain.com are processed in Euros (EUR). Product prices, shipping charges, applicable taxes, refunds, and other transaction amounts are calculated and processed in EUR unless otherwise clearly stated at checkout.

If your payment card, bank account, or digital wallet uses a currency other than EUR, your bank or payment provider may convert the transaction into your local currency. Any exchange rate, foreign transaction fee, conversion fee, or other charge applied by your bank or payment provider is determined by that provider and is outside our control.

3. Payment Processing and Third-Party Providers

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment service providers, including Stripe and PayPal. Depending on the payment method selected, your payment information may be transmitted directly to the applicable payment provider for authorization and processing.

We do not directly process or store sensitive customer payment credentials on our servers. In particular, we do not store complete payment card numbers, CVV or CVC security codes, digital wallet credentials, or PayPal account login information. Payment authorization and processing are handled by the applicable third-party payment provider in accordance with its own security standards and privacy practices.

4. Payment and Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect information transmitted during the payment process. Our website uses secure HTTPS connections and SSL/TLS encryption to help protect data transmitted between your browser and our website.

Payment processing may also use security technologies and safeguards provided by our payment service providers, including tokenization, encrypted payment transmission, fraud detection systems, payment authorization controls, and 3D Secure authentication where supported. These technologies are intended to reduce unauthorized access to sensitive payment information and help identify potentially fraudulent transactions.

Because payment details are processed by third-party payment providers, we do not retain customers' sensitive card or payment account information on our own servers. Customers should also take reasonable precautions to protect their devices, payment accounts, passwords, and other account credentials.

5. Failed Payments, Authorization, and Payment Disputes

An order will normally be processed only after payment has been successfully authorized or confirmed. A payment may be declined, delayed, or fail for reasons including insufficient funds, incorrect payment information, card restrictions, expired cards, security verification requirements, suspected fraud, payment provider restrictions, or technical issues.

If a payment fails, customers should first verify that their payment information is correct or contact their bank, card issuer, PayPal, or other applicable payment provider for assistance. We may also request that a different available payment method be used where necessary.

If you believe that a payment was charged incorrectly, duplicated, unauthorized, or otherwise disputed, please contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute whenever reasonably possible. We will review the relevant order and transaction information and work with the applicable payment provider to address the matter. Any chargeback or payment dispute submitted directly through a bank, card issuer, Stripe, PayPal, or another payment provider may also be subject to that provider's own investigation procedures and timeframes.

6. Refunds and Return-Related Payments

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the order. We do not normally issue refunds to a different card, bank account, digital wallet, or other payment method.

Once a refund has been approved, we will normally process it within 7 business days. After the refund has been submitted by us, additional time may be required for the refunded amount to appear in your account depending on your bank, card issuer, PayPal, Stripe, or other payment provider.

Refund eligibility, return requirements, return timeframes, damaged or incorrect items, and other return-related conditions are governed by our Return & Refund Policy. Customers should review that policy before submitting a return or refund request.
